Commercial plumbing in Avonmouth

Plumbing for Avonmouth businesses

Most of Avonmouth’s land is industrial: warehousing, distribution, light industry and the businesses around the docks. Those sites need working toilets, kitchens, washrooms and drains, and when something fails, it can stop work.

What we do for businesses

• Blocked toilets, urinals, sinks and drains
• Leaking pipes, valves and fittings
• Repairing and replacing washroom fittings
• Staff kitchen and canteen plumbing
• Plumbing in dishwashers and glass washers
• Fitting isolation valves so areas can be shut off separately
• Pipework for fit-outs and changes of layout
• Radiator and heating pipework repairs (no gas)

Working around your business

We know a shutdown costs money. Tell us when you ring about your working hours, deliveries, site access and any sign-in or safety rules, and we’ll plan the work around them. Out-of-hours visits are often the least disruptive option for non-urgent jobs.

Blocked drains at work

Fat from kitchens and canteens is the most common cause of business drain blockages we see. Wipes and paper towels flushed in washrooms come a close second. Clear signage and bins in washrooms, and wiping pans before washing, make a real difference.

Whose drain it is matters here too. Since 1 October 2011, shared drains and pipes outside your boundary have been Wessex Water’s responsibility. A drain serving only your premises, inside your boundary, is yours.
